Flura is a personal health tracking tool — it is not a medical device, not a diagnostic service, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the guidance of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you have regarding a medical condition.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Flura mobile application and website (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Description of Service

Flura is a personal health tracking application that allows users to log symptoms, medications, and wellness data; detect patterns through AI-assisted analysis; and generate reports to support conversations with healthcare providers.

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use. Flura is not a regulated medical device and has not been evaluated or approved by any health regulatory authority (including the FDA, CE, or equivalent bodies) as a diagnostic or treatment tool.

2. Medical Disclaimer

The content and insights generated by Flura — including AI-identified patterns, suggested correlations, and report summaries — are for informational purposes only. They are not medical diagnoses, clinical recommendations, or prescriptions.

Never disregard, delay, or avoid seeking professional medical advice because of something you read or see in Flura. In an emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.

Flura does not establish a doctor-patient relationship between you and any Flura employee, contractor, or AI system.

3. Account Responsibilities

To use Flura, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate account information and keeping it up to date.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
  • Being at least 16 years of age to create an account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Flura offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

  • Auto-renewal — Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation — You can cancel at any time through your App Store or Play Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to premium features until that date.
  • Refunds — Refund requests are handled in accordance with Apple App Store and Google Play Store refund policies. Flura does not process refunds directly. Please contact Apple or Google support to request a refund.
  • Price changes — We will notify you at least 30 days before any subscription price increase. Continued use after the new price takes effect constitutes acceptance.

5. User Content

You own the health data, notes, and other content you enter into Flura (“User Content”). By using the Service, you grant Flura a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service for you.

We do not claim ownership of your health data. You may export or delete your data at any time. This license terminates when you delete your account.

6. AI-Generated Insights Disclaimer

Flura uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude API) to analyze your logged data and surface potential patterns. These insights:

  • Are suggestions and observations, not clinical diagnoses.
  • May be inaccurate, incomplete, or not applicable to your individual situation.
  • Are only as good as the data you provide — incomplete or inaccurate logs will produce less reliable insights.
  • Should always be reviewed with a qualified healthcare professional.

Flura expressly disclaims any liability for decisions made based on AI-generated content within the app.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Intentionally enter false, misleading, or fraudulent health data for the purpose of manipulating AI outputs or misleading healthcare providers.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the app.
  • Use the Service to harass, harm, or impersonate any person.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Flura's systems, servers, or databases.
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

8. Intellectual Property

The Flura name, logo, app design, software, and all associated content (excluding your User Content) are the intellectual property of Flura and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, or distribute any Flura content without our prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Flura and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of health outcomes, loss of data, or personal injury — arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Flura in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Termination and Account Deletion

You may request account deletion at any time from within the app (Profile › Delete Account). When you do:

  • Your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this time your account is deactivated and you are signed out, but your data is preserved.
  • If you sign back in within 30 days, your account and all data are automatically restored. No action is needed beyond signing in.
  • After 30 days, your account and all associated data are permanently and irreversibly deleted, including health logs, AI insights, reports, and analytics data.
  • You will receive email confirmations when deletion is scheduled and when it is completed.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 8, 9, and 11) will continue to apply.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. The specific governing jurisdiction will be confirmed as Flura's company registration is finalized. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, followed by binding arbitration if necessary.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and display a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Flura after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
